LABORATORY FUNCTIONS
The ECPC Research and Laboratory Division has two sections: the Chemistry Section and the Microbiology Section. Its main functions are the following:
1. To conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis for water and waste-water, soil, and food samples.
2. To provide technical support to collaborative projects with the government and non-government agencies, private sectors, academe, and the community;
3. To assist students and other individuals in various researches by providing them access to the different facilities and equipment available at the laboratory;
4. To assist with other technical services divisions in developing database generated from laboratory analytical results, and;
5. To provide consultation and training related to the function of the laboratory.
